The Academy Awards, also (1) ... as the Oscars, are prizes given by the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science to people in the film business. Oscars are awarded to top professionals of all kinds, including directors, actors, writers and (2) ... designers. There is a special ceremony every year where the awards are presented.
